Notififying club meeting details

The club meeting is a key element of your Rotary activities. And there are a number of places where that information is available beyond your club. When there is a change to those details, you will need to notify a number of other sources.

1. Rotary International: Changes in club meeting venue or time need to be reported to Rotary International. This notification needs to be done by a formal letter on club letterhead. This can be faxed or mailed to Rotary International. This will effect changes in the International Directory and on the RI database. Check the RI website for details:

2. District 9810: Within our District, you need to notify the District Governor, your Assistant Governor, and the District News Editor. This will up date the District Administration records for your club.

3. Further, please notify the District webmaster. This will mean your club details on the website are changed.

However, we do want to ensure that other Rotarians can contact our clubs when needed.

Beyond the District website, there are a couple of other websites that do post your club details. They need to be keep informed if there are changes to club details.

4.Rotarnet site: http://www.rotarnet.com.au/ Their email address for changes is: [email address hidden]

5. 'Rotary in Australia' This should also effect changes on the Rotary in Australia website that uses the same information. That link is http://www.rotary.org.au/

Last job will be to check that your information has been received:

*Rotary International: On the Rotary International website, you should check the Club locator for your club meeting time and place details http://www.rotary.org/support/clubs/index.html

*Rotary in Australia: Check the Rotarnet site regarding your club details. Once you have accessed the site, click on 'Districts and Clubs' in the left hand sidebar, and then follow the link in the new pane to District 9810 and the next link to the club listing. The link is: http://www.rotarnet.com.au/ Also, check the information via the Rotary in Australia website. http://www.rotary.org.au/

*And the District website using the club database on the right hand side of the Front Page at www.rotary9810.org
